An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Division to work within CCTSS on the wards as a receptionist. You shall be the only receptionist on the ward and will be responsible for the admin work, filing, making appointments plus other clerical duties expected by a ward. You may also be asked to cover other wards within the surgical division to ensure services are covered. This will be Mon - Fri

You will provide a professional front of house and telephone service. Answer enquiries, receive and relay messages, both in person and on the telephone, from patients, visitors and hospital staff also using knowledge of hospital procedures to maintain a professional front of house service. To meet the needs of the service and take into account special requirements.
On a daily basis you will process all admissions and discharges on the system, maintain patients case notes and file into the case notes, provide patients appointments when requested and liaise with the w ard staff and other multi-disciplinary teams.
