Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a short-term opportunity in a supportive and friendly office environment? Our client — a leading global manufacturer and distributor — is seeking a motivated individual to provide 4 weeks of temporary cover within their small busy accounts team.
The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping day-to-day finance operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties
Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
Maintaining filing systems and financial records
Answering incoming calls and taking messages
Providing general administrative support to a small, close-knit office team
About You
You’ll bring a positive attitude and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you’ll have:
Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance support role
Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A professional and friendly telephone manner
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
