Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Room Leader to work as part of the management team. You'll provide professional leadership to all staff members and maintain the highest standards of care and education.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the nursery team to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of children.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.
* Monitor children's progress and development, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the nursery environment.
* Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and incidents.
* Support staff training and development through mentoring and guidance.
Skills
* Proven management and leadership skills within a childcare setting.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or early years environment is essential.
* Strong understanding of childcare practices and early childhood education principles.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for occasional transportation needs related to nursery activities.
