Job Description:
The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.
As Night Shift Quality Controller, you will uphold the quality, legality, and authenticity of all our values at DELI LITES, giving customers the opportunity to achieve extraordinary results through our passion for people and food. Your Duties:
* Safeguard your own safety and the safety of others while performing your duties.
* Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
* Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
* Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments to supervisors.
* Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting tests, and managing re-work processes.
* Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight, temperature, label, metal detection, and checkweigher checks.
* Communicate any Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances through Daily Quality Reports.
* Maintain measurement equipment and highlight repair needs.
* Support production and ensure sub-standard ingredients or unsafe products do not leave the site.
* Assist NPD and Production teams during trials.
* Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality to the relevant managers.
* Follow additional instructions from supervisors and managers.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative approach.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* IT literacy.
* Experience in a Food Industry Quality Department.
