Interaction Engineering Fabricator Welder General Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator Welder to join our production team. The successful candidate will carry out fabrication and welding tasks as directed by Production Supervision and will be expected to assist in other production areas as needed. A commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities General Duties: Always act in the best interest of the company. Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters relating to company business. Follow all company procedures, policies, and standards. Practice good housekeeping to maintain a clean and organised work environment. Fully comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company safety policies. Specific Duties: Perform fabrication and welding tasks as directed by the Welding Supervisor. Ensure that work meets the highest standards of quality and report any defects immediately. Actively participate in relevant quality control processes. Complete all administrative duties related to job tracking and compliance: Log jobs using the EPICOR MRP system. Record information necessary for Welder Qualification and traceability. Conduct MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) and Dye Penetrant Testing as required. Uphold and demonstrate a 5S culture in your work area (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain). Ensure all assigned work is completed efficiently and within required timeframes. Requirements Essential: Proven experience in fabrication and welding in a production environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with quality standards and inspection techniques (MPI, Dye Pen). Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Desirable: Experience using EPICOR or similar MRP/ERP systems. Relevant welding certifications or qualifications (e.g., BS EN ISO standards). Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
