Senior Product Designer (Data Visualisation Focus)
I’m partnering with a wellness organisation going through a major product transformation — shifting from a traditional health club model into a fully-fledged, data-driven wellness and longevity platform.
Right now, there’s no unified digital experience across web or app, which creates a genuinely greenfield opportunity. A full website rebuild (new tech stack and front-end) will so be underway alongside a broader app redesign — but the real challenge sits deeper: defining how data becomes meaningful to users.
This is where you come in.
At the heart of this role is a critical workstream focused on longevity, health data, and performance insights. The ambition isn’t to replicate platforms like Garmin - it’s to go further. Not just dashboards or wearables, but experiences that genuinely help users understand their health, behaviours, and long-term wellbeing.
This isn’t about making dashboards look good. It’s about turning complex health data into clear, intuitive, and visually compelling experiences that drive action.
What you’ll be doing
* Owning the design process end-to-end — from discovery and problem framing through to final UI and delivery
* Playing a key role in shaping a greenfield product experience across web and mobile
* Defining user journeys where data, insight, and decision-making sit at the core
* Designing intuitive, scalable UX across complex, data-heavy products
* Translating health and performance data into clear, structured, and engaging interfaces
* Creating high-quality UI with strong attention to hierarchy, layout, typography, and visual clarity
* Designing dashboards and data visualisations that make complex information feel simple, useful, and even beautiful
* Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to shape solutions that are both valuable and buildable
* Prototyping and iterating based on user feedback, testing, and real-world usage
* Contributing to and evolving design systems to support consistency at scale
* Taking ownership of quality — ensuring what goes live reflects the design intent
1. What they’re looking for
* Proven experience delivering end-to-end UX/UI design on live products (consumer or B2B)
* Strong capability across both UX thinking (journeys, flows, problem framing) and UI execution (craft, polish, detail)
* Experience working on data-heavy products (dashboards, analytics platforms, reporting tools)
* A portfolio that demonstrates both product thinking and high-quality visual design
* Ability to simplify complex problems into clear, usable, and visually intuitive experiences
* Strong interaction design skills, particularly around data exploration, filtering, and navigation
* Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing product direction
* High proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
* Someone who cares deeply about both usability and visual quality
What makes this interesting
* A true greenfield opportunity to shape a unified digital experience from the ground up
* The chance to help define a product transitioning into a long-term health and longevity platform
* A role where design directly influences how users understand and act on their health data
* Complex, meaningful problems — not surface-level UX
* High ownership and real influence across product direction
* A team focused on clarity, impact, and building something genuinely useful, not just aesthetically pleasing
