We are looking for a dedicated Locum Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Walsall. This role is ideal for someone with experience in stock control and basic pharmacy tasks. The successful candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. For Band 4 candidates, an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Locum Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for managing stock control, handling basic pharmacy tasks, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality service. You will ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, maintain inventory levels, and assist with patient inquiries. Your role will also involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant

o Requirements: Must have NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
o Duties: Dispensary duties only.
o NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services for Pharmacy Assistants.
* Band 4 Pharmacy Technician
o Requirements: Must have NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services.
o Duties: Dispensary duties only (MMT or ACT required).
o NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services for Pharmacy Technicians.
