About The Role
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for:
Processing purchase and sales ledgers with a high degree of accuracy.
Managing supplier payments, reconciliations, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Creating and maintaining vehicle stock records and ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
Handling bank transactions, expense claims, and supporting month-end reconciliations.
Processing Trader Support Service (TSS) declarations and assisting with general office admin duties.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (Grade C or above).
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role (placement experience welcomed).
Working knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Studying towards or completed AAT Level 2 (Foundation Certificate in Accounting) and/or Level 3 (Advanced Diploma in Accounting).
Experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
Familiarity with HMRC tax compliance and vehicle conversion regulations.

Desired Criteria
* Studying towards or have completed AAT Level 2 (Foundation Certificate in Accounting) and/or Level 3 (Advanced Diploma in Accounting)
* Previous experience in finance or accounting roles within the automotive or manufacturing environments
* An understanding of the vehicle conversion industry
* Familiarity with regulations regarding vehicle conversions, including compliance with tax laws and vehicle taxation applicable in Northern Ireland
Required Criteria
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English at grade C or above.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and ISO standards
* Adhere all company systems, processes, policies, and procedures diligently
* Foster good employee relationships and contribute towards creating a harmonious work environment
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel); familiarity with standard office software (such as Microsoft Word and Outlook)
