We are now recruiting for a House Services Assistant (Cleaner) to join our team at the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford on a part-time, permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities
• As a House Services Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the museum, helping to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone who visits or works here.
• Working as part of a close-knit team, you will follow cleaning schedules and carry out tasks efficiently and consistently, taking pride in your work and the impact it has on the overall visitor experience.
• You will take responsibility for working safely at all times, following health and safety procedures and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Essential Skills
• Joining us, you will bring experience of working to high standards, within a cleaning or facilities environment, along with a genuine sense of pride in your work.
• You will be punctual, with good timekeeping and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable working to schedules and completing tasks on your own initiative.
• You will also be a good communicator, able to work positively with colleagues from a range of backgrounds, and willing to help build an open and inclusive organisation.
Desirable Skills
Experience using cleaning equipment such as buffers or scrubbers would be beneficial, but is not essential.
