We are currently recruiting for a technician to work with our Highway Licensing and Regulation team. The role will include the processing of Highway Licences, raising of invoices, assist with gathering evidence in relation to investigations by providing highway records and land registry details in relation to ownership and responsibility of land & property. Produce Monthly reports to assist Senior Engineer in relation to monitoring of workloads and performance related to targets & Service Level agreements. Monitor complaints received and send correspondence in relation to enforcement matters when directed by senior officers.
We are looking for a hardworking and conscientious person to work in a busy environment, providing an essential and valuable service to our customers, who can build effective relationships with customers and relevant partners. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of the council’s customer service systems and highway-based systems, although full training will be given. A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and excellent communication skills is required for this post.
