The Job – What You’ll Be Doing as a Class 2 driver
1. Drive a dedicated Class 2 DAF truck (tail lift & electric pump truck – not shared)
2. Deliver premium artisan flour to bakeries and businesses nationwide
3. A mix of handball and pallet drops (some forklift-off)
4. Delivery runs vary – from one large drop to multiple smaller drops in a day
5. Only one planned night out every 10 weeks (paid allowance and sleeper cab provided)
Pay & Benefits
6. Full time permanent salary £34,000 – earn up to £40,000 OTE with overtime and night out payments
7. £51/night out allowance
8. Overtime at time and a half after 50 hours
9. 50 hours/week guaranteed – paid even if not worked
10. 24 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
11. Company pension scheme
12. Death in service benefit after 6 months
13. Access to company medical scheme after 3 months
14. Parking costs reimbursed
What We’re Looking For
15. HGV Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence
16. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
17. Physically fit for occasional handball
18. Multi-drop driving experience is helpful but not essential
19. Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused approach
