Role: Breakfast club supervisor
Students age range: 2-12
Hours of work: 7:45 am to 9:15 am. Monday to Friday, 39 weeks of the year (Term time only)
Children arrive at 8am and are in morning club until 9am.
The successful candidate must be highly professional, considerate, patient and conscientious. This role require an approachable manner, welcoming nature and good communication.
The role involves:
•Ensuring the games and craft trolley is stocked and prepared.
•Supervising children while they engaging in activities and assisting them as needed.
•Preparing and serving breakfast to children who require this.
•Cleaning up at the end of the club
Place of work: Ty Glas Ave, Llanishen, CF14 5DX.
Requirements (CMS can arrange for the training if not already held):
•Food hygiene level 3
•DBS check
•Paediatric first aid

About us: Established in 2016, Cardiff Montessori School (CMS) is the only Montessori primary school in Wales. CMS is dedicated to offering authentic Montessori education. Children learn in mixed age environments, typically staying in the same class for 3 years. Montessori education is based on a scientific understanding of child development. Children learn through hands on materials which gradually become more abstract. Ensuring all learners have solid foundations in place to scaffold their learning on. The early years focus on connecting children to their environment to allow them to develop their concentration, independence and executive function skills. In the elementary class (Year 2 and above) children are responsible for tracking their own learning and meeting regularly with their class teacher to review their progress.
We pride ourselves on our small close knit community, in which all staff are familiar with all students and their families. The school has a 2-3 years class, a 3-6 year class, a lower elementary class (6-9) and upper elementary class (9-12) as well as a Secondary.
