Music Teacher Location: Northumberland Setting: Secondary School Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40 AM - 3:30 PM Education World are recruiting for a specialist Music Teacher to join a secondary provision in Northumberland initially until Christmas 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and have knowledge of the curriculum to Teach KS3, KS4 and help out with KS2 music at a nearby feeder school. Role Responsibilities: Teaching the Music curriculum across KS2 to KS4 Follow behavior management strategies maintaining school standards Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment Provide one-to-one and small group support as needed Contribute to the planning and delivery of educational activities Adapt lessons and teaching to meet differences in students' needs and abilities. Key Requirements: Essential: QTS Desirable: Music Specialist, Experience teaching up to GCSE Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach Understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures About the Setting: Secondary mainstream provision OFSTED rated Good Mixed gender school Very supportive senior leadership team and a progressive community nature Who are Education World?
