We are looking for a suitably experienced colleague to support the complex coronary intervention service including revascularisation of chronic total occlusions. These procedures will all be performed in Hull, however the post will require occasional cover of angiography / angioplasty lists to be undertaken in NLAG.
The post is therefore joint between the two Trusts – with the employment contract being with Hull University Teaching Hospitals. The post-holder will have twin bases – at Castle Hill Hospital (with availability of office space) and at NLAG (with office space at Grimsby). There will be no expectation of travel between Trusts during any working day. The post will be based at HUTH.
Responsibilities
* Support the complex coronary intervention service, including revascularisation of chronic total occlusions.
* Occasional cover of angiography/angioplasty lists at NLAG.
* Participate in the complex coronary intervention lists at HUTH.
* Contribute to the primary PCI rota for STEMI in HUTH.
* Work from twin bases: Castle Hill Hospital and NLAG, with no travel between Trusts during any working day.
Qualifications
* Specialist training in performing complex interventions such as CTOs.
* Suitably experienced colleague.
