As we continue to expand, we're on the lookout for a Trainee Fabricator to join our friendly and experienced Fabrication Team. If you're someone who's hands-on, keen to learn, and ready to start building a long-term career in a supportive and hard-working environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be trained on the job and through specialist external courses to help you master your craft. Working alongside skilled fabricators, you'll learn everything you need to know about producing high-quality stone worktops.
You'll be trained to:
* Fabricate solid stone worktops using a variety of hand tools and machinery
* Interpret and understand templates and technical paperwork
* Handle and lift heavy materials safely and correctly
* Meet deadlines and quality standards for each project
* Complete daily machinery and tool checklists
* Help keep the fabrication area clean, tidy, and running smoothly
* Carry out quality checks to ensure every finished worktop meets our high standards
What We're Looking For
* A great eye for detail and pride in your work
* A positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn
* A team player who's also confident working independently
* Willingness to take direction and absorb training from a range of managers
* Good time management and the flexibility to meet changing demands
* Forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential

* Based at our site in Kidderminster
* Full-time, Monday to Friday
* Starting salary: From £24,000 per year
