TRUEfoods are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Operative to join our thriving, fast paced food manufacturing business based in Melmerby, Ripon. This permanent position offers a 5 day over 7 contract, predominantly Monday to Friday with weekend work required during busy periods.
Duties will include picking, packing, preparing and loading delivery trucks with assigned high quality chilled foods inline with the company quality standard. You will be tasked with carrying out general housekeeping duties whilst ensuring you adhere to the strict health and safety procedures throughout site. You will also assist with ensuring the yard area is kept clean and tidy at all times and help with unloading deliveries, experience of driving a forklift is advantageous although not essential.
Although predominantly hands on manual labour, you will be required you to complete paperwork accurately and in a set time frame and ensure products are stored safely at all times.
The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, high attention to detail and be reliable with a strong work ethic. Previous picking, packing and warehouse experience would be desirable but no essential. If this sounds like you and you'd like to join us we'd love to hear from you
