About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both the class teacher and pupils on a day-to-day basis.
You will:
1. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support to individuals and small groups.
2. Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing their confidence as independent learners.
3. Support children with a range of needs, including those with additional learning or emotional challenges.
4. Encourage positive behaviour and model good communication and teamwork skills.
5. Help with classroom preparation, organisation of resources, and creating a stimulating environment.
6. Provide feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and contribute to assessment records.
