The role is central to ensuring products are completedaccurately, safely and to the required technical standards. Build and test distribution boards and MCCB panels in line with technicaldrawings, specifications and BS EN 61439 requirements Read and interpret electrical CAD drawings, wiring diagrams and layoutinformation Check component quantities and quality before starting each build Assemble wiring loom kits using a range of cable crimp hand tools Carry out electrical testing, including continuity, insulation resistance andfunctional checks Identify and rectify wiring or assembly faults through effectivefault-finding Maintain accurate manufacturing records, including test certification,diagrams, drawings and production sheets Work safely and support compliance with health and safety requirements Work independently with limited supervision while collaborating withcolleagues and other departmentsAbout You Previous strong experience in a low-voltage panel building environment Good understanding of electrical systems, components and panel construction Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Ability to read and work from technical electrical drawings and wiringdiagrams Experience using hand tools, power tools and electrical test equipment Knowledge of electrical regulations, including 18th EditionPerks and IncentivesWorkshop-based role with a stable full-time schedule, occasional site work, andthe opportunity to develop further within a specialist manufacturingenvironment.
