Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
* Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
* Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team management.
* Train new employees on food safety practices, kitchen procedures, and customer service excellence.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient food production.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Foster a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers, promoting excellent service delivery.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
Experience
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required.
* Experience in team management, with strong leadership skills to motivate staff effectively.
* Background in serving or barista roles would be advantageous.
