What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Operations
* Lead day-to-day transactional finance activities across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Sales Invoicing, and Bookkeeping
* Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner
* Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial records and documentation
* Act as a key point of contact for finance-related queries across the business
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
* Oversee invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
* Monitor customer accounts and drive timely payment collection
* Manage aged debt, reduce risk, and resolve billing queries efficiently
* Build strong relationships with customers to support smooth collections
Accounts Payable
* Manage supplier invoice processing and payment cycles
* Ensure payments are made in line with agreed terms and approvals
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain strong supplier relationships
Bookkeeping & Reporting
* Maintain accurate ledgers and perform regular reconciliations
* Support month-end and year-end close processes
* Assist with audit preparation and management reporting
Cash Flow & Process Improvement
* Monitor cash flow and highlight risks or opportunities
* Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance
* Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in transactional finance (AP, AR, Credit Control, Bookkeeping)
* Strong understanding of accounting systems (Xero/Dext preferred)
* High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
* Experience supporting month-end processes
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
* Confident communicator who can collaborate across teams
Qualifications
* AAT qualified (desirable, not essential)
* Relevant experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping roles
