Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis to join our culinary team. As a Commis, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen. Duties
* Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking tasks as directed, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained at all times.
* Help supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods, demonstrating strong teamwork and communication skills.
