Job description: We are seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer for our new Silverstone Facility. Your responsibilities will include performing calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and optimizations of car structures at both assembly and component levels. We value innovative thinking and encourage team members to challenge norms and share ideas to foster success.
What you will be doing:
* Support design teams by conducting analyses and optimizations to develop lightweight, robust designs.
* Prepare reports for design reviews and documentation.
* Collaborate with other FEA engineers to improve analysis efficiency and accuracy.
* Review load cases for design and analysis purposes.
* Supervise and mentor graduate FEA Engineers within your team.
Requirements:
* Experience in F1, top-tier motorsport, or aerospace industries.
* A relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
* Extensive experience with FEA, preferably using Altaire software.
* Experience in composite analysis is preferred.
* Familiarity with optimization software.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office Suite.
* Ability to foster an inclusive and collaborative environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
