Shift Engineer – Kensington – £50,000 – £52,000
A leading facilities management provider is seeking a Shift Engineer to support operations at a high-profile commercial building in West London.
This role is well suited to a proactive building services engineer with strong technical knowledge and experience working within large commercial environments, delivering safe, efficient, and reliable building operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate, maintain, and monitor mechanical and electrical building services
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
* Respond to faults, alarms, and building issues in a timely manner
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures
* Support daily building operations and tenant requirements
* Liaise with specialist subcontractors and service partners
* Complete accurate maintenance records, reports, and shift handovers
* Assist with emergency response procedures
Requirements:
* Experience working within a commercial building or corporate environment
* Electrical or mechanical engineering background
* Good working knowledge of HVAC, pumps, AHUs, lighting, and power systems
* Relevant engineering qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
* Comfortable working on a shift pattern
* Strong fault-finding and communication sk
