Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Semi-Senior Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) or someone with relevant practice experience looking to advance their career within a dynamic firm. You'll work closely with senior accountants and managers to deliver outstanding service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of accounting clients across a range of industries
Serve as the main point of contact, building strong and long-term client relationships
Oversee the delivery of accounting, tax, and compliance services to agreed deadlines
Conduct regular client meetings to review financial performance, discuss requirements, and provide guidance
Identify opportunities to support clients with additional services such as tax planning, advisory, or business support
Liaise with internal teams to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory standards
Ensure client records are kept up to date and compliant with relevant accounting and tax regulations
Monitor changes in legislation and proactively advise clients on potential impacts
Requirements
Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a UK-based accounting practice
Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations
Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A team player with a client-first attitude
