Overview
Location: South West region, working predominantly from Bridgwater with some time working from Weston-Super-Mare. Working Hours: Part Time, 4 days per week (32 hours per week). There is some flexibility around which days of the week you work.
Salary: £22,350 - £24,512 (pro-rata amount) dependent on experience

Cosmic’s Restart Team in Bridgwater and Weston-Super-Mare is focused on helping people understand technology and build confidence. This role involves working in person at these locations to provide direct engagement and support to our learners.

Required qualifications and experience
* Experience in teaching or training, particularly in digital skills
* A valid driver's license and access to a car for travel between locations are required

General Description
We’re seeking a Digital Skills Trainer (also known as an Essential Digital Skills Tutor, Basic IT Skills Trainer, or Digital Inclusion Coach) to empower adults looking for work with the digital confidence they need in today’s world. This role sits within our delivery of the Government’s Restart Scheme. If you have experience as a Computer Skills Tutor, Adult Learning Trainer, Employability Trainer, or Digital Support Tutor, we’d love to hear from you.
In this rewarding role, you’ll deliver one to one training sessions and workshops covering the Essential Digital Skills. Creating inclusive learning environments to coach and mentor adults through their digital learning journeys – starting with essential digital literacy, using online tools and apps, all the way to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for simple productivity tasks.

Your focus will be on improving employability through digital skills, supporting lifelong learning and personal development, and finding ways to support learners starting where they’re at. Key Result Areas
1. To deliver job related digital training programmes of learning, 1-to-1 consultations and support clients in your designated hub(s) within your identified geographic area
2. Ensure that clients register and log onto the Seetec job hub
3. To work effectively with the Restart Employability Advisors to ensure smooth onboarding to the digital support and alignment with other aspects of the wider Restart programme
4. To motivate, train, coach and mentor clients throughout their digital learning with a focus on high quality customer experience
5. To complete all client administration both internally on the Cosmic dashboard and the Seetec CMS
6. To provide administrative support, particularly in compiling of records, analysis and evaluation of learning experience
7. To oversee key stakeholder relationships in designated hub
8. Compile client records, analysis and evaluation of learning experience
