This hybrid role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across council services, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors alike. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice, support, and training on all aspects of health and safety. Support the Head of Health & Safety in developing and delivering the annual work plan. Monitor and communicate new legislation and guidance relevant to council operations. Investigate health and safety incidents, including serious incidents, and contribute to lessons learned. Deliver targeted interventions to improve safety outcomes and mitigate risk. Contribute to income generation in line with service level agreements. Support delivery of designated aspects of the Health & Safety business plan.Performance Measures Protect the Council from health and safety litigation and claims.
