Electrical Engineer – Ambrosia Premier Foods
Location: Ambrosia Creamery - Premier Foods
Salary: £55,000 per year (+ Overtime)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Alternating Days & Nights)
What you’ll be doing:
1. Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults to ensure smooth production operations.
2. Programming, fault-finding, and optimizing Siemens PLCs.
3. Supporting the wider team with mechanical maintenance as needed, promoting a multi-skilled approach.
4. Executing planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
5. Contributing to continuous improvement projects.
The ingredients we’re looking for:
1. Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
2. Experience with Siemens PLCs – programming, troubleshooting, and fault-finding.
3. Familiarity with process controls and instrumentation is a bonus.
4. A proactive approach and willingness to support mechanical maintenance.
5. Experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
6. A positive, team-oriented attitude.
