Summary

**Important notice**

In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from National Trust employees who are under formal notice of redundancy.

Bring people, places and nature to life across some of Lincolnshire’s most remarkable landscapes; Sandilands Nature Reserve, Gunby Estate, Monksthorpe Chapel and Tattershall Castle. This part-time role is ideal for someone who loves inspiring others, celebrating special places and helping communities connect with nature, beauty and history. You’ll play a meaningful part in shaping visitors’ experiences while working in beautiful surroundings.

What it's like to work here

Joining the National Trust on the Lincolnshire Coast means becoming part of a friendly, supportive team who care deeply about the places we look after. From the evolving wetlands at Sandilands to Gunby’s peaceful gardens, Tattershall’s striking medieval tower and the quiet charm of Monksthorpe Chapel, each site offers something unique. Reporting to the Community, Participation and Volunteering Manager, you’ll work collaboratively across teams, sharing ideas, supporting colleagues and helping more people experience the stories and landscapes that make these places special. You’ll work across offices at Sandilands, Gunby and Tattershall to stay closely connected with each site. If you’re seeking a role with purpose, variety and the chance to help shape an exciting future for the Lincolnshire Coast, you’ll feel right at home.

What you'll be doing

You’ll help bring the stories and spirit of the coast to life through thoughtful communication and community engagement. One day you might be creating content that showcases Sandilands’ evolving habitats; the next, capturing moments from Gunby’s gardens, supporting a local event at Tattershall or working with volunteers and partners. You’ll ensure our messages are welcoming, inclusive and inspiring, helping more people discover and enjoy the places we care for. No two days will look the same - you’ll balance time in the office with time outdoors, responding to opportunities, sharing stories and supporting activity across the coast.

To thrive here, you’ll bring creativity, strong communication skills and a curiosity for understanding what inspires people. You’ll be well organised, confident building relationships and comfortable managing a varied workload. Above all, you’ll be motivated by our values, embracing change, caring for people and places and helping create experiences that are relevant, engaging and responsible.
