About the Team The Parking Management Team are a small, dynamic group dedicated to managing and improving parking services across various projects and schemes, as well as ensuring compliance of our statutory requirements. Our team thrives on collaboration and efficiency, in delivering a high-level service to the community. We are looking for a new member of the team to provide hands on support for our many upcoming projects and schemes, and to provide support to customer queries and requests. About the Role As the Contract and Projects Monitoring assistant you will play a key role in supporting the Parking Team in undertaking a wide variety of activities as we progress through the up-and-coming projects and schemes. The successful candidate will be required to provide administrative support to the and resident permit and parking scheme reviews. These include initial informal public engagements and ongoing administrative and monitoring tasks throughout the project life cycle. You’ll need to be well organised and be able to work under your own initiative. You’ll also be triaging and answering the busy service inbox, assisting with customer queries and requests. Key Requirements As you will be working with a variety of stakeholders, it is important you have strong written analytical and communication skills. You need to be able to work on your own initiative with strong problem-solving skills, with support and assistance within a small team. You’ll need excellent customer service skills to assist customers and elected members with their queries and requests. You will have the ability to work to deadlines, and under pressure, whilst maintaining accuracy. Experience using computer systems to input and obtain information is essential as well as experience using, and knowledge of word processing software and spreadsheets.
