Job Overview
This position will be responsible for working on a range of Onshore Wind, PV and BESS projects throughout the EIA, design and construction phases.
Responsibilities
* Carry out construction phase inspections, including foundation pre-pour inspections and post-pour inspections
* Assisting with project administration tasks such as client meetings, progress reporting and technical queries.
* Reviewing BoP contractor's civil infrastructure designs (tracks, hardstands, foundations, control buildings, etc).
* Contribution to H&S management, including review of RAMS and other construction documents such as a Construction Environmental Management Plans or Traffic Management Plans.
* Managing construction project quality assurance and document control across multiple projects.
* Support to the Project Managers on contract payments and variations
* Working with other team members to develop 2D / 3D wind farm layouts using InfraWorks and AutoCAD.
* Assisting with internal project management tasks such as forecasting, invoicing and resourcing.
* Developing proposals and bids for onshore wind projects and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals.
Qualifications
* Civil Engineering qualification
* Are chartered, or working towards chartered status with the ICE
* Have experience of design and construction in renewable projects
* Have a basic understanding of GIS, InfraWorks and AutoCAD software
* Have some combined site experience with knowledge of CDM Regulations, health and safety, general on-site civil construction experience and reinforcement detailing and checking.
* SMSTS or NEC4 Supervision accreditation is preferred but not required (training will be given)
* Are willing to travel all over the UK, potentially for continuous extended periods whilst undertaking site supervision duties
* Ability to travel across the UK
