Trustee Governance Specialist We have an excellent opportunity for a Trustee Governance Specialist to become part of our dedicated Trustee Governance team for a period of 12 months (FTC), based either in our Darlington or London office (hybrid working). The Role As Trustee Governance Specialist, you’ll provide dedicated support to achieve the Trustee Governance deliverables included in our General Code of Practice project, ensuring delivery of high-priority governance enhancements aligned with the Pensions Regulator’s Code of Practice and the Trustee’s strategic goals. You will also liaise extensively with internal SMEs and the Trustee’s external advisors to ensure timely delivery of governance workstreams, led by the project team. The Person The successful candidate will have an extensive understanding of pension scheme governance and regulatory requirements and experience of drafting governance frameworks, policies, and contractual schedules. They will be able to apply this knowledge to deliver bespoke solutions in a highly complex environment, thinking creatively, and sensitive to the circumstances of our schemes and the Trustee. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and communication skills, with an attention to detail. You will have the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships with confidence.
