We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic CNC Turner with basic operating experience to join our clients team based in Coalville. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a precision engineering environment, with support and training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC turning machines under supervision
Load and unload components from the machine
Carry out basic quality checks using measuring tools (e.g., callipers, micrometres)
Read and follow basic engineering drawings and work instructions
Keep the work area clean and organised in line with health and safety standards
Assist skilled machinists and contribute to general workshop tasks as requiredRequirements:
Some experience operating CNC lathes or turning machines (training can be provided)
Basic understanding of machining processes and workshop practices
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Keen to learn and develop new skills
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethicDesirable (but not essential):
Familiarity with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
Basic knowledge of cutting tools and materials
Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environmentWhat We Offer:
