What’s on offer
We’re looking for two part-time Rents Advisors (17.5 hours each), we would also consider full-time (35 hours) for the right candidate. Working patterns can be negotiated to suit your lifestyle.
What you’ll do
* Set and audit rents, ensuring compliance with the Rent Standard.
* Work closely with colleagues across Homes and Wellbeing to check new tenancy rents and service charges.
* Maintain accurate data in our housing systems and produce rent breakdowns and notifications.
* Support the Rents Team Leader with fair rent applications and appeals.
* Collaborate with Development teams to set social rents for new properties.
* Respond to customer queries about rents, always putting the customer first.
What you’ll have
* Knowledge of social housing issues and rent-setting regulations.
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manipulate data for audits using Microsoft Excel and other IT systems.
* Great communication skills to work across teams and with customers.
* A commitment to delivering high service standards and following processes.
