We are currently seeking a HSE Advisor to join our Facilities clients. The role will require regular travel to sites in Lincoln, Derby, and occasionally further north. Comes with a salary of £55,000 plus car/car allowance.
Responsibilities for HSE Advisor
1. Ensure compliance with HS&E legislation health, safety, and environmental standards.
2. Liaise effectively with the contract team and the internal HSE Management Team.
3. Generate reports, identify necessary remedial actions, and support their implementation.
4. Oversee contractor employees, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols.
5. Maintain high housekeeping standards across the contract and implement necessary improvements.
6. Review, complete, and support the development of risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
7. Conduct COSHH assessments and ensure the effectiveness of supply chain documentation.
8. Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety requirements.
9. Verify the presence and maintenance of health and safety signage and protective measures.
10. Monitor fire precautions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
