Consultant in Radiology - Cross Sectional with Head & Neck Interest
Weve been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to recruit a Consultant in Radiology - Cross Sectional with Head & Neck Interest on either a Substantive or a 12 month NHS Fixed Term basis. Our client is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the West Midlands providing primary, acute and community services. The Department of Radiology consists of a main department and two satellite units. It offers all radiological modalities except CT/PET, which is sourced from private facilities.
Responsibilities include:
* Teaching and supervision of radiology SpRs assigned to the department.
* Providing clinical teaching for medical students and non‑radiological junior doctors.
* Involvement in Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Clinical Audit.
* General radiology services, including consulting and advisory to clinical colleagues.
* Specialist head and neck imaging services, including image‑guided biopsies and FNAC.
* Participation in multidisciplinary team meetings to maintain high standards of care.
Qualifications:
* MUST have GMC Registration.
