Team / Role Overview
Markets is a global leader in underwriting, structuring, and trading across all asset classes, including equities, corporate bonds,ernment and agency bonds, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, syndicated loans, structured and futures products.
The successful candidate will be closely coordinating with other members of the Markets Risk and Control teams and Business Managers globally. Opportunity to gain product and process knowledge in different regional businesses, as well as direct exposure to internals partners and stakeholders, as well as external clients. Markets Shared Controls Group (SCG) exists to support the Markets business globally through the efficient execution of controls/ activities that aremon across region, product and risk category.
What you'll do:
1. Managemunication and coordination of the support functions within Markets
2. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by drivingpliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
3. Maintain and monitor the controls environment
4. Develop best practice procedures within Markets
5. Review support functions processes and challenge procedures that are not consistent with Markets objectives
6. Identify and spearhead process improvement initiatives
7. Assists in ad-hoc reports and special projects as needed
8. Trains, coaches or guides junior staff when required
9. Coordinate and manage any Internal Audits andpliance Assurance
Knowledge and experience
10. Relevant experience in financial services or related discipline
11. Prior experience in Audit,pliance would be beneficial
12. An understanding of Markets business and / or associated processes and controls will be a plus
13. Strong Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills
14. Strong written and oralmunication skills
15. Ability to interact successfully with multicultural/virtual teams

Qualifications
25. Bachelor's degree in relevant field, such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting
