Alexander Steele are working with an established ambient food manufacturing business in Nottinghamshire who are looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Lead to join their site operations team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse leadership or supervision within a fast-paced food or FMCG environment, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and people development.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead and support a team of warehouse operatives to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
* Oversee goods in, storage, stock rotation, and dispatch processes in line with site procedures
* Ensure accurate stock control and documentation to maintain full traceability
* Drive high standards of safety, hygiene, and compliance throughout the warehouse
* Work closely with planning, production, and logistics to achieve service level targets
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
* Support training and development of the warehouse team to build capability and engagement
