The Role
As a Palantir Solution Architect, you will lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver contemporary data solutions. You’ll be recognised as an authority in data technology, providing strong technical and thought leadership while balancing pragmatism with innovation to deliver complex solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Implementing functional and non-functional designs
* Collaborating with Ops and Infrastructure architects to productionise robust, resilient, and maintainable data solutions
* Partnering with customer architects to agree designs and guide sound solution outcomes
* Developing policy and standards, sharing knowledge, and mentoring peers
* Managing timelines and solution delivery estimates
* Owning technical solution design in pre-sales processes
* Contributing to the wider data community and capability
* Coaching and developing staff, focusing on performance and career growth
Minimum Requirements
* Experience leading multiple teams as a data solution architect with ownership of complex systems
* Proven track record in designing, building, and productionising modern data-intensive applications
* Broad knowledge across data ingestion, transformation, storage, presentation, and consumption
* Strategic design thinking, including conceptualisation, roadmap definition, and risk management
* Strong understanding of traditional and contemporary data warehousing concepts
* Experience deploying data-processing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks)
* Hands-on ability in Java, Scala, or Python
* Demonstrated success in managing, coaching, and developing teams
