Senior Architectural Technician Job in Haslemere, Surrey
Our client is an independent architectural practice, which has an opening for a Senior Architectural Technician. The role involves working as part of the senior team, managing projects, and providing technical support to team members. This position is suitable for an experienced project runner seeking project responsibility, a competitive remuneration package, and a friendly team environment.
Based in Surrey, the client is a small but dynamic practice of 6 professionals, offering a range of design and construction services across Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex, and London.
Project values range from £500,000 to £5 million and include residential, commercial, and education sectors.

Role & Responsibilities
* Lead project management and coordination
* Produce technical drawing packages
* Communicate directly with clients
* Own projects and serve as the main contact
* Work mainly from stage 4 onwards
* Liaise with team members, contractors, and third parties
* Produce detailed technical information
* Attend site visits
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in relevant sectors
* Ability to work independently
* MCIAT accreditation is highly desirable
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
* A technical test will be part of the interview process
* Experience in project management and onsite delivery
* Ability to resolve design issues with innovative solutions
* Passion for architecture and embracing new techniques
* Experience in residential or educational projects is advantageous
* Strong communication skills for effective liaison
* Be within 45 minutes commute of the office

* Salary of £50,000 – £59,000
