Are you a passionate and reliable cook with experience in preparing hearty, traditional meals? We're looking for a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to join our kitchen team, with flexible hours available across weekdays, weekends, and as sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals from a set menu to a high standard
* Deliver traditional and basic dishes such as curries, shepherd's pie, lasagna, and other comfort classics
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
* Ensure consistent food quality and portion control
Requirements:
* Basic DBS
* NVQ Level 2
* Proven experience cooking in a professional kitchen
* Confidence preparing a variety of traditional meals
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexible availability, including weekend and sickness cover shifts
