CBW Staffing Solutions are working with a high-profile, client-direct commercial campus in Whitechapel to find a skilled Fabric Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a rotating shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance. You’ll be the go-to person for fabric and general maintenance tasks across the estate—no two days will be the same. What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out general fabric maintenance and repairs across the campus Painting, decorating, and light cosmetic work Minor carpentry tasks (e.g. fixing doors, locks, and fittings) Installing shelves, whiteboards, blinds, and more Supporting basic electrical duties (e.g. lighting checks and replacements) Assisting with room setups and internal moves Supporting statutory compliance tasks – tap temps, flushing, fire alarm tests Keeping logbooks up-to-date and assisting subcontractors on-site Working Hours Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts): Week 1: 07:00am – 16:00pm Week 2: 10:00am – 19:00pm On-call rota with additional payments What’s On Offer £45,000 Annual Salary 30 Days Holiday (Plus Bank Holidays) 14.5% Employer Pension Contribution Season Ticket Loan On-Call & Attendance Bonuses A secure, long-term role on a direct client site ✅ What We’re Looking For Proven experience in commercial building maintenance Hands-on skills across multiple trades (fabric, basic mechanical/electrical) Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset Excellent communication and teamwork skills Interested?
