Brightpoint Community College is seeking a qualified individual for Program Support Coordinator (PSC) for Radiologic Technology who provides academic support to students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program. This role is designed to reinforce course content, promote collaborative learning, and enhance student success in Radiologic Technology coursework. Facilitate study sessions focused on core topics. Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring to support student understanding of course material. Assist in labs, guiding students through hands-on practice with procedures, documentation, and equipment. Support students in developing effective study habits, critical thinking skills, and test-taking strategies. Collaborate with faculty to ensure instructional support aligns with course objectives and student needs. Develop and share supplemental learning materials, including practice questions, and case-based scenarios. Monitor student progress in both academic and lab settings, and provide feedback to faculty as needed. Participate in training and professional development related to tutoring, instruction, and lab facilitation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current enrollment in or completion of a Radiologic Technology program. Strong academic performance in radiologic science coursework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. excellent oral and written communications skills, and flexible to work at any of the College’s locations. Successful completion and passing of a criminal background check.Additional Considerations:
Experience providing tutoring, mentoring, or teaching, especially at the college level, ability to use instructional technology, and knowledge of Radiologic Technology program criteria.
