This is a great opportunity to join our team. As our Housing and Property Lead, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long‑term accommodation.
What You’ll Do
* Ensuring our customers' properties are homes they can be proud of, supporting them by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
* Helping customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring these are received on their rent account.
* Where appropriate, issuing and signing warning letters and notices that may lead to attending court.
* Preparing rooms for the next customers, turning around vacant or void rooms within set timescales to maximise occupancy.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance and that maintenance standards are met.

You Have
* Experience managing a housing caseload and handling landlord and housing management duties.
* Know‑how of re‑letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
* The ability to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
* Sufficient initiative, positively influencing people from different backgrounds.
* A “can‑do” positive attitude; proactive, well‑organised, able to work independently.
* Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business and with external partners.

The Practical Bits
* Monday to Friday 9‑5pm, flexible working hours (or a work pattern to be agreed).
* Based at our service in Falmouth, travelling around properties in the Falmouth and Camborne patch. Base location (Falmouth or Camborne) will be discussed at interview.
* Use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and initiating tenancy sign‑ups.
* A vehicle insured for business purposes is required; mileage will be paid.
* An Enhanced DBS check is required, which we pay for.
