Pyramid8 has a fantastic opportunity open for a Senior Project Manager in the Huddersfield area. Working for an extremely successful company with blue chip National and International clients, you will be responsible for managing a number of projects from start to completion.
An experienced Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards. This role involves working closely with clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure successful execution, especially in fast-paced rollout programmes, while maintaining quality. The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in delivering multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with engineers, transport, and warehousing teams to meet client objectives.

Job Description/Outline
1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed according to plan and adjust as necessary.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a cross-functional team (Design, Finance, Warehouse, etc.) to achieve project goals.
3. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Manage expectations and keep all parties informed of progress and issues.
4. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Budget Management: Implement effective cost control, track costs, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
6. Reporting: Provide regular project status updates and prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet high standards, implement quality control, and conduct reviews.
8. Client & Contractor Liaison: Manage enquiries from main contractors, arrange site meetings, and liaise over approvals and bespoke requests.
9. Site & Installation Coordination: Attend site meetings, arrange surveys and visits, and coordinate with installation teams and contractors.
10. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare risk assessments, manage quotations, purchase orders, and ensure site sign-offs.
