1. Position: Accounts Clerk
2. Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
3. Location: Southwick
4. Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5:30pm

We are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join an established Accountancy Practice based in Southwick. In this role, you will support the accounting team with VAT preparation, accounts production, and general financial duties.
As an Accounts Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:
6. Recording and preparing VAT Returns
7. Preparing quarterly MTD Returns
8. Producing annual and periodic financial statements
9. Completing tax computations and assisting with corporation tax returns
Requirements for the Accounts Clerk:
10. Minimum 3 years’ experience within a UK Accountancy Practice
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
12. Strong understanding of accounting principles and methods
13. Proficient in accounting software such as Excel, QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero
