Exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer!

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
* Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards in line with company policies to maintain a safe working environment and minimize environmental impact.
* Travel on-land with our company car from Monday to Thursday, and on weekends when necessary based on business needs.
* Prepare Health and Safety risk assessments before and during on-site assignments, strictly following Howden and customer policies.
* Take end-to-end responsibility for routine service, repair, installation, and commissioning of rotating equipment, complying with company standards.
* Communicate with clients to coordinate on-site activities and provide technical support related to installation, commissioning, and repairs.
* Prepare and submit documentation such as daily reports, visit reports, site communications, timesheets, and commissioning documents.
* Conduct on-site machinery analysis and provide condition reports to identify opportunities for service upgrades and spare parts.
* Engage with all aspects of the business, supporting SHE, efficiency, delivery, and quality improvements.
* Travel frequently within the UK and internationally.

* Essential skills, knowledge, and behaviors
* Recognized engineering apprenticeship
* HNC in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience as a multi-skilled service engineer in a rotating machinery industry
* Significant experience working in mechanical environments or industrial sites, such as Water Waste, PCOG, and Power Industry (preferred)
* Time management skills
* Ability to self-manage in remote locations
