About The Role
Are you skilled at building relationships and breaking down barriers? Do you want to support pupils with emotional regulation and access to learning? As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will support in class, in small groups, and on a 1:1 basis, using behaviour management skills to help pupils manage their behaviour and support their learning. Pupils are aged 4-11, some with EHCPs for SEND, SEMH, Autism, or ADHD.
We seek someone passionate about creating engaging, fun ways to support pupils and make school a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment.
Requirements
* Desired: Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 2/3 Early Years Educator
* Desired: Ability to drive
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, or challenging behaviour (preferred)
* Strong behaviour management skills to de-escalate threatening or aggressive behaviour
* Ability to mentor and deliver educational packages to pupils
* Resilient, empathetic, patient, and able to handle challenging situations
