The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available to join a global leader in the Pharmaceutical sector as a Production Planner. This role will sit in a close-knit team and will play a pivotal role in coordinating production activities and supporting the delivery of critical products to customers.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Develop and continuously adjust daily production schedules in line with available capacity and operational priorities
Coordinate workflow and sequencing of manufacturing activities to ensure customer demand and delivery timelines are met
Monitor stock levels and trigger actions to maintain availability of key materials and finished goods
Track production performance against plan, escalating risks and resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, attending daily meetings and communicating updates to stakeholders
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Previous experience in a production planning or scheduling role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data such as bills of materials and production requirements
Ability to use MS Excel to a high level
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, quality and commercial teams
A structured and proactive approach, with the flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
It’s great if you also have the following
SAP Experience
Experience in the Pharmaceutical sector
