Job Description
We are supporting a global dairy business in the appointment of a Product Manager based at their UK commercial hub in Surrey.
Our client is one of the largest food groups in the world, employing around 85,000 people globally with annual turnover exceeding €30bn. The UK operation is a well-established supplier of own-label and branded cheese to major retailers and operates in a structured, delivery-led FMCG environment.
This role sits within a stable Product team and plays a key part in ensuring retailer-led projects are delivered accurately and on time.
The Role
This is a coordination-driven Product Manager position focused on owning projects end to end
rather than brand marketing activity.
You will:
* Manage multiple live product and packaging projects simultaneously
* Own critical paths and ensure timelines are maintained
* Coordinate across Commercial, Technical, Supply Chain, Forecasting and factory teams
* Support the delivery of own-label products into major retailers, including Aldi, Tesco and Sainsbury’s
Success in this role is measured by clean delivery, accuracy and reliability.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience within food, ideally FMCG
* Brings strong project management capability
* Is comfortable managing multiple critical paths at once
* Can influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
* Is structured, organised and calm under pressure
* Enjoys owning delivery through to retailer launch
This could suit someone currently working in Product, Technical, Sales or Marketing who is already used to coordinating complex projects and is ready to take on broader ownership.
Working Pattern
Hybrid working, with three days per week based in Redhill.
Factory visits form part of the role and count as office days.
