About the role
We are looking for a senior administrator who wants to be acore member of the Rural Division Leadership team that prides itself inproviding health care in partnership with our rural communities. Working in the health care sector is anexciting and rewarding opportunity, our developments with Health NZ in 2025will be a core part of your work.
Accountable, resilient and adaptable will be your corestrengths, underpinned by your excellent communication skills and approachablenature. You will be the glue that ensures the tasks are done, thereporting is on time, and we are connected to and delivering on our workplan. To dothis you will need to be able to take initiative, work independently, takingresponsibility and pride in producing results with the team.
You will need to be proficient with Microsoft officeproducts, including excel and MS Teams. An interest in progressing our expandeduse of Co-Pilot and advancing suite of AI assistance would be an advantage.
Key Requirements, the role will involve:
* Co-ordinationwith the GM of the operational workplan for the Division, from thisco-ordinating key meetings and action progress to completion
* Communicatingwith key stakeholders across the Health NZ District and community in anapproachable, professional and diligent manner
* Reportcollation, including assistance in writing key performance reports andtemplates
* Ableto prioritise and manage multiple requests, across multiple platforms andmake key decisions on delegation and follow up.
* Apassion for developing presentations for multiple audiences, making thebest of our plain language requirements whilst looking sharp andprofessional.
* Abilityto support Senior Leadership team members through technology
* Yourcore values align with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and this will be demonstratedin the work you produce.
As a Division that supports multiple locations, your placeof work will be based in Ashburton, but at times you will be required to attendmeetings in other areas within Canterbury.
About you
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant for asenior manager
* Highly computer literate in the Microsoft suiteof products
* Excellent keyboard skills
* High level of written and verbal communicationskills
* Possess technical knowledge and skills relevantto the position, and a commitment to continuously updating these
* Finance administration
